About this opportunity :
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and executing site supply chain activities supporting Cincinnati operations, including material planning (MRP), purchasing/procurement coordination, inventory control, material movements, warehousing operations (onsite and offsite as applicable), and shipping/logistics. This is a people manager role responsible for the day-to-day leadership, training, and performance management of supply chain/warehouse personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Master Scheduling and Manufacturing Planning to reconcile demand and supply inputs and support schedule attainment and project timelines.
- Supervise purchasing activities for site materials and consumables, ensuring efficient execution and compliance with company procedures and quality requirements.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships; coordinate deliveries, resolve delays, and support supplier performance improvements with Strategic Sourcing as needed.
- Support supplier qualification and monitoring activities with Quality Assurance.
- Plan and coordinate warehousing activities including receiving, storage, material movement, production issuance, and inventory control in alignment with cGMP and internal procedures.
- Own inventory accuracy processes, meeting site targets while improving inventory visibility and traceability.
- Ensure proper segregation, status control, documentation, sampling/release coordination, and material issuance practices.
- Support warehousing strategies for current operations and near-term business needs.
- Manage logistics and shipping activities, including outbound shipments and internal transfers, ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external carriers/brokers to ensure on-time deliveries and rapid resolution of logistics issues.
- Serve as a key ERP user for supply chain transactions and drive system utilization improvements.
- Maintain and improve master data while coordinating cross-functional updates to reduce planning errors and material variances.
- Support inspection and audit readiness; participate in audits and ensure timely completion of related actions.
- Maintain and improve Supply Chain SOPs and work instructions to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Promote safety and quality within supply chain and warehouse operations; address non-compliance and support investigations and corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, inventory, material movement, supplier performance, KPI reporting, and corrective actions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible supply chain experience, preferably within a GMP-regulated environment.
- Prior people management/supervisory experience leading warehouse/materials or supply chain teams in an operations environment.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar) and strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing, purchasing, and logistics processes.
- APICS/ASCM certification preferred.
- Lean/continuous improvement experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, communication, and cross-functional collaboration; proficient in Microsoft Office.
The annualized salary range for this position is between $97,100.00 - $118,800.00.
