Project Accountant, Accounts Receivable

About this opportunity :

As Project Accountant, you will generate invoices and recognize projects revenue in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with business contract milestones. Create and maintain projects in the SAP projects database, which includes setting up projects, entering cost budgets, adjusting milestone events, and closing out projects.  Month-end reconciliations.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Work with Business Development and Project Managers on sales order entry and change orders. 
• Recognize revenue percent-complete on service, manufacture, and stability projects. 
• Generate sales invoices according to project milestones in a timely manner. 
• Create new and complex projects in SAP including entering cost budgets for projects. 
• Maintain project milestone dates with the Project Manager. 
• Close projects routinely following procedure. 
• Generate inter-company invoices as needed. 
• Perform Accounts Receivable collections bi-weekly. 
• Support the Finance team on ad hoc business projects. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Associate's degree or equivalent work/academic experience. 
• 2+ years' work experience with a medium or large-sized business. 
• Qualified candidates must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel. 
• Experience with ERP systems, SAP a plus. 
• Utmost attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must. 
• Ability to work in a changing environment and be flexible in prioritizing tasks and deadlines. 

The annualized salary role for this position is $65,100.00 - $79,600.00.
