About this opportunity :

The Senior Corporate Training Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs and best practices across the organization. This role, sitting within the HR function, will ensure that employees at all levels have access to high-quality training and development opportunities that support business objectives, enhance employee performance, and drive continuous learning. The Senior Corporate Training Manager will work closely with department leaders to assess training needs, standardize training approaches, and cultivate a culture of professional growth. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

 

  • Design and implement company-wide training strategies that align with business goals and support employee development. 
  • Develop, manage, deliver, and maintain e-learning, in-person, and blended learning solutions to meet diverse employee needs. 
  • Establish and maintain training best practices, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all departments. 
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer programs to ensure technical leads can train others. 
  • Collaborate with department leaders and training SMEs to assess training needs and develop customized learning programs. 
  • Develop and oversee leadership development initiatives to support succession planning and managerial growth. 
  • Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS) to track and evaluate training effectiveness. 
  • Oversee onboarding training programs to ensure new hires receive comprehensive and engaging training. 
  • Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making continuous improvements. 
  • Partner with HR and leadership to identify skills gaps and implement targeted training initiatives. 
  • Manage relationships with external training vendors, consultants, and certification providers. 

 

Required Skills/Abilities 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate training, learning and development, or instructional design. 
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation. 
  • Experience managing an LMS and other digital learning tools. 
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously. 
  • Experience with leadership development and succession planning programs preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and e-learning authoring tools. 
  • Demonstrated ability to assess training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
