About this opportunity :

 

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist leads the recruiting function through their proactive work to improve recruiting processes, development candidate pipelines, and place talent into key positions. The Senior Talent Acquisition specialist is a coach and mentor to hiring teams and other HR team members on all recruiting related topics. This opportunity is eligible for remote work, but the ideal candidate will live within commutable distance of our Milford, MA facility and be able to come on site for bi-weekly orientation and onsite engagement events and training.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

 

  • Conducts all aspects of the recruiting process in accordance with the Talent Acquisition Specialist job description of mid-level, senior, and high priority openings.
  • Leads process development efforts to improve internal processes and to grow Nitto Avecia’s employer brand and
  • Trains new team members, consultants, and hiring teams on recruiting best practices.
  • Manages relationships with Career Services departments and state/local employment resources.
  • Assists hiring teams with the development and revision of job descriptions for selected positions.
  • Manage assigned employees in accordance with all Avecia policies and best practices. This includes, but is not limited to, the onboarding of new staff, ensuring employee goals are created/approved/monitored, conducting ongoing performance management, monitoring and approving timecard, PTO etc. 

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

 

  • Ability to objectively evaluated applications and resumes to recommend candidates which are best suited for open roles. 
  • In-depth knowledge of hiring strategies, labor laws, and employment equity. 
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. 

 

The annualized salary for this role is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00.
