About this opportunity :

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a recruiter and brand ambassador who serves as the first point of contact for potential hires. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works together with hiring teams to develop qualifications for open roles and create talent pools for each hiring manager to interview. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

 

  • Proactively source, screen, and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals. 
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. 
  • Engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and team dynamics. 
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate virtual meeting logistics as needed. 
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to extend job offers and assist with onboarding preparation. 
  • Present HR and general onboarding topics during new hire orientation. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and innovative recruiting strategies. 
  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, and other talent acquisition initiatives. 
  • Assisting with other HR projects and responsibilities as needed 

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field  
  • 1-5 years’ experience in recruiting   
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring. 
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address hiring challenges. 
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn tools for sourcing candidates.
