POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under limited supervision, provide professional service and collaboration with the organization’s customers by implementing field service installation, startup, troubleshooting, analysis, pre-and-post-commissioning, on water, wastewater, and process separation equipment products.  Deliver technical training and supervision for plant staff before and after installation of unit.  Direct the operation of pilot components.  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
Provides installation of products at customer sites as well as conducting pre-installation assessments.

Interprets and analyzes blueprints, plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare startup or service.

Evaluates startup data for assessment, resolves any startup issues, prepares detailed reports, and communicates to Hydranautics’ management on project status. 

Analyzes data trends and recommends corrective actions for plant operators through data normalization and other performance measurements.

Identifies root causes of product performance and proposes solutions as well as facilitate any laboratory testing if necessary. 

Facilitates on-site training to plant staff on organization’s standards of proper operation of equipment.

Completes service reports, verifies repairs, warranty to conduct maintenance. 

Studies and updates technical information on Hydranautics’ products such as specifications, bulletins, and Global Sales & Marketing bulletins.

Provides technical design and advice to customers and Global Sales & Marketing staff regarding organizations’ products and systems operations. 

Builds customer relationships in a professional manner through solution-oriented communication and service, providing both on-site and telephone support.

Conducts customer visits for technical discussions, meetings, and training sessions.  Addresses the customer's technical queries thoroughly and provides support promptly.

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering; and 5 – 7 years’ directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.   Three plus (3+) years’ experience in commissioning water treatment plants, a plus. 

Strong knowledge of water chemistry concepts, fluid flow and water pressure as well as analytical methods and technical writing. 

Thorough and/or working knowledge of plant processes, RO, NF and UF technology and ability to apply knowledge in the field.  Ability to conduct pilot trials and submit detailed reports.

Strong ability to apply critical thinking skills along with exceptional problem-solving skills.

Strong multi-tasking skills, flexibility in responding to rapidly changing, dynamic processes and demands/pressures.

Strong ability to verbally communicate across functional organizational groups, provide high-level customer service through effective interpersonal skills and conflict resolution. 

Intermediate skills in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other enterprise software applications. 

Intermediate understanding of Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration and Microfiltration processes and products.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. 

Ability to work independently as well in small or large groups and foster cooperation in a team environment using interpersonal skills. 

Ability to accommodate up to 50% travel by plane, train and/or automobile, including overnight travel depending on assigned project. 

Must be able to meet physical demands and work environment requirements.
