IT Engineer (part-time)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the local IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment and peripherals of the local IT environments.
• Validate and place request or changes to the necessary Network and/or Firewall settings for execution by our MSP.
• Collaborating with the IT team within EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) for optimal services in IT and OT.
• Supporting colleagues, who are passed on from the remote near-shore Service-Desk in need of help with Workplace, infrastructure, or local applications.
• Preparation of hard and/or software incl. phone/laptops/tablets for new employees.
• Respond to user requests for service, troubleshooting, taking appropriate ownership of tickets that have been assigned to you.
• Enhancing knowledge within the team by documenting tasks, resolution procedures, known errors.
• Optimize the Incident/service request flow in collaboration with our Outsourced Service Desk.

Your Profile

• A passion for information technology.
• 5 years of relevant experience in IT service environments or proven experience.
• Knowledge of servers, workstations, workplace devices.
• Network setup (LAN, WLAN), SCCM, Power-shell, Intune, Windows 10/11, AD, BIOS, Drivers.
• Strong analytical skills and creativity in finding solutions.
• Good level of 0365 apps.
• Languages: Mature level English / Native Czech.
