Our position – who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced colleague to take ownership of logistics operations, international transportation, customs administration and Trade Compliance. This role combines day-to-day logistics with the growing field of European legislation and regulatory compliance.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate import and export shipments and organize road, air and sea freight.
- Communicate with carriers, customs brokers and logistics service providers.
- Manage customs documentation and declarations and verify HS codes and customs classification of materials.
- Prepare Intrastat reports and documentation related to preferential origin of goods.
- Support Trade Compliance and Export Control and monitor EUDR, CBAM, PPWR and other regulatory requirements.
- Improve logistics processes, optimize costs, work with SAP and report across Nitto EMEA.
What knowledge and experience do we expect?
- Secondary school or university education and practical experience in logistics, customs administration or international trade.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, international transportation, customs procedures and related documentation.
- Good English for daily communication and strong MS Excel skills.
- An independent and systematic working style with accuracy and attention to detail.
It will be an advantage if you have:

- experience with SAP, Intrastat or preferential origin of goods;
- knowledge of Trade Compliance, Export Control, AEO, EUDR, CBAM or PPWR;
- experience in a manufacturing company or automotive environment.
