Quality Engineer

We are looking for an independent and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team at Nitto Denko Czech in Brno and become a key partner for our customers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• communicating with customers and managing customer-specific requirements;
• handling complaints using the 8D methodology and root cause analysis;
• preparing and maintaining PPAP, VDA 2, PFMEA and IMDS documentation;
• managing customer portals, scorecards and regulatory declarations;
• analysing non-conformities, coordinating corrective actions and reporting quality KPIs;
• supporting internal, external and customer audits;
• cooperating with Production, R&D, Project Management and Logistics during new and modified product launches.

This is primarily an office-based role, with regular involvement in production during audits, quality incidents and product launches.

Who we are looking for

• Secondary or university education in a technical field.
• Previous experience in quality, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Good written and spoken English, at least B1 level.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Experience with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA/PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC or root cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate with customers, analyse problems and coordinate their resolution.
• An independent, responsible and well-organised approach with attention to detail.
• Good MS Office skills; SAP experience is an advantage.
