Our position – who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to develop our supplier base, lead sourcing projects and support a resilient and sustainable supply chain across Nitto EMEA.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
  • Identify, evaluate, qualify and develop suppliers and build long-term partnerships.
  • Lead RFQ and sourcing projects and negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial terms.
  • Manage supplier performance and risk and support dual-source and business continuity initiatives.
  • Maintain supplier registration and master data in SAP and support supplier qualification and audits.
  • To contribute to EMEA projects in the areas of procurement and sustainability.
  • Cooperate with Production, Planning, Quality, R&D and SCM teams across Europe and Japan.


 

What knowledge and experience do we expect?

  • A university degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics, Engineering, Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • 3–5 years of experience in strategic procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Experience with SAP and advanced MS Excel.
  • Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
  • Fluent English for daily communication.
  • A proactive and independent approach with a strong ownership and results mindset.

 

It will be an advantage if you have:

    • experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment;
    • knowledge of ESG, EcoVadis or sustainability programmes;
    • experience in project management, Power BI or international sourcing.
