Our Position
Do you enjoy collaborating and do you have a passion for IT governance and project leadership? Nitto EMEA is looking for a dynamic IT Governance and Project Office Manager to lead our governance framework, work towards project excellence, and ensure alignment between IT initiatives and business goals.
This role is positioned at our office in Genk, Belgium. You will report to the CIO and you will be a member of the IT management team, which also includes the Business Solutions Manager, Solution Architecture Manager, and Service and Operations Manager.
As the IT Governance and Project Office Manager, you have the opportunity to:
- Lead IT Governance: Design, manage, and optimize governance processes across the EMEA IT organization.
- Drive Project Excellence: Oversee the selection, prioritization, and execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Foster Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and preferred IT suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor adherence to governance standards and proactively manage IT-related risks.
- Facilitate Change: facilitate monthly Change Advisory Board meetings to align IT priorities with business needs.
- Manage an Enthusiastic Team: coach and manage internal and external project leaders, as well as direct reports including the Security Officer and two Governance Officers.
- Influence Strategy: Represent IT in strategic discussions with regional production site stakeholders as part of the IT management team.
Your Profile
- Education: preferably a Master’s level in IT, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: preferably 8 years of experience or more and hands-on in IT governance, project management, and people management (team-level, not just project-based).
- Communication: you enjoy communicating across all levels (from end users to top management) and get energy from collaborating with different stakeholders.
- Leadership: you have a result-oriented mindset with a strategic view and a natural sense of ownership.
- Expertise: you understand IT governance frameworks and best practices.
- International Mindset: you are comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment with a willingness to travel.
- Change Agent: you have a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
