Nitto Belgium established itself in Genk in 1974 and is the largest production site in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa) for the Japanese Nitto Group. With over 500 employees, we develop and produce sealing materials and various industrial adhesive tapes such as double-sided tapes and surface protection tapes for industries including automotive, electronics, furniture, paper production, aviation, and metal processing.

Our Position

As a Process Engineer, you play a crucial role in developing and continuously improving our production processes to ensure they meet - and even exceed - the increasingly stringent requirements in terms of quality, safety, efficiency, energy consumption, and environmental impact.

A process engineer has the following tasks:

  • Take initiative to continually improve production processes
  • Address, resolve, and prevent quality issues at the source
  • Devise and develop new, forward-looking production processes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a zero-emission plan

Your Profile

A good process engineer...

  • Holds a technical master's degree (engineering, engineering sciences, electromechanics, energy,...)
  • Enjoys applying theoretical knowledge in a dynamic production environment
  • Is hands-on, proactive, analytically inclined, and result-driven
  • Excels in project management
  • Values innovation and efficiency
  • Is a good communicator who enjoys collaboration
  • Is proficient in Dutch and English
