Our Position

For our site in Genk, we are looking for a motivated Production Planner. Are you someone who enjoys planning, analysing and collaborating across departments? Then be sure to read on.

 

As a Production Planner, you ensure that customer orders are delivered on time and correctly. You strive for optimal customer satisfaction combined with minimal operational costs. You act as a link between different internal departments and bring people, planning and information together to achieve the best possible result.

In addition, you are responsible for monitoring and following up on incidents in our MRP systems (SAP and OMP). In case of issues, you ensure correct registration, consult with the relevant departments and coordinate the solution in cooperation with IT and external partners.

 

A Production Planner has, among others, the following responsibilities:

 

  • Creating, following up on and adjusting an efficient production plan for multiple production lines
  • Timely calling off and following up on all required materials (such as raw materials and packaging materials) to guarantee an uninterrupted production process
  • Optimising the balance between customer satisfaction, cost control (e.g. scrap and changeover time) and inventory management
  • Cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Production and other Nitto entities to ensure smooth communication and a high level of service
  • Monitoring inventory and order management, including timely order confirmation and processing, and ensuring accurate information for internal and external stakeholders

 

Your Profile

A good Production Planner recognises themselves in the following profile:

 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant (technical) field, or several years of relevant experience in production, logistics or a similar environment
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with different departments and stakeholders
  • Strong in demand and supply planning, inventory management and proactively seeking continuous improvement
  • Experience with MRP systems (SAP) and Excel is a strong asset
  • Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English
  • Healthy ambition and an affinity with people leadership
