Our Position

As a Production Planner, you ensure that customer orders are delivered on time and correctly. The goal is to achieve optimal customer satisfaction while minimizing operational costs. You bring together various internal departments to achieve the best possible results.

In addition, you are responsible for monitoring and following up on incidents in our MRP systems (SAP and OMP). In case of issues, you ensure proper registration, coordinate with relevant departments, and manage the resolution in collaboration with IT and external partners.

 

Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Creating and managing an efficient production schedule for multiple production lines.
  • Timely ordering of all required materials (such as raw materials and packaging) to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Optimizing the balance between customer satisfaction, cost control (e.g. scrap and changeover time), and inventory management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration between sales, production, and other Nitto entities to ensure smooth communication and excellent service.
  • Monitoring inventory and order management, including timely confirmation and processing of orders, and providing accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

A successful Production Planner recognizes themselves in the following:

 

  • Several years of relevant experience in production, logistics, or a similar field.
  • Relevant (technical) education or equivalent through experience.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong in demand and supply planning, inventory management, and proactive continuous improvement.
  • Experience with MRP systems and Excel is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English.
