Our Position

‘We place safety before everything else’ is Nitto’s baseline. As SHE Manager, you are the driving force behind our safety, health, and environmental policies. You will lead a team of experts and report directly to the QES Manager. Operating at both strategic and operational levels, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact. With your expertise, you will help shape a forward-looking policy within a stable, innovative organization that places sustainability high on the agenda.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Translate our SHE strategy into concrete policies

  • Coach and lead a team of safety, health, and environmental experts

  • Manage ISO14001 & ISO45001 systems and ensure legal compliance

  • Identify workplace risks and develop emergency plans

  • Foster a strong safety and environmental culture within Nitto Belgium

  • Clearly report to management and regulatory authorities

Our current SHE Manager is retiring — we offer you the unique opportunity to receive thorough handover training directly from him.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in environmental sciences, chemistry, safety engineering, or a related field

  • Preferably certified as Environmental Coordinator Level A and, as a plus, Prevention Advisor Level 1

  • Minimum of 7 years’ SHE experience in a production environment

  • Solid knowledge of SHE legislation and standards, with experience in chemical risk analysis

  • A critical mindset regarding safety management and health monitoring

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
