Our Position
- As a Technical Buyer you will collaborate with the Buying team, acting as their back-up, to determine and challenge stakeholder requirements.
- Analyze suppliers, pricing models, and cost developments using advanced decision support systems and price formulas.
- Optimize supplier relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate the Material and Supplier Qualification (MSQ) process for technical goods and contractors, ensuring the collection and analysis of MSQ data in administrative systems.
- You evaluate new suppliers, materials & services, addressing irregularities and escalating issues to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify trends or recurring questions that could impact organizational processes and implement improvements.
- Contribute to certification audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.), ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
Your Profile
- You hold minimum a bachelor’s degree.
- 2 to 5 years relevant experience with technical buying
- You have very strong analytical skills.
- You have an eye for improvement, and you are not afraid to take initiatives.
- You are a PC literate with extensive knowledge of Excel, knowledge of SAP is an asset.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
